Michael William Grimm, 55, Navarre, Fla., passed away Tues­day, Feb. 28, 2012.
A native of Belle­vue, Ohio, Michael was born on Sept. 2, 1956, to the late John W. and Arvilla M. Grimm.
He is sur­vived by his wife of seven years, Tammy Ezell Grimm; step-daughter, Chelsea Broy, of Tampa, Fla.; step-son, Jonathan (Annie) Broy, and grand­daugh­ter, Ava Odom, of Pen­sacola, Fla. He is also sur­vived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Linda Grimm, Okla­homa City, Okla.; sis­ter, Becky Grimm, and nephew, Andrew M. Grimm, of Belle­vue.
A vet­eran of the United States Air Force, he retired in 1993, hav­ing served in var­i­ous world­wide USAF assign­ments as an Air­craft Envi­ron­men­tal Sys­tems Tech­ni­cian and Logis­tics Plan­ner.
Michael had worked as Chief of Audio­vi­sual Branch, United States Air Force Spe­cial Oper­a­tions School, Hurl­burt Field, Fla., since 2001.
A fam­ily memo­r­ial gath­er­ing will be held Sat­ur­day, June 30, from 24 p.m. at the Foos and Foos Funeral Ser­vice, 151 York­shire Place, Belle­vue.
In lieu of flow­ers, memo­ri­als may be made to the Wounded War­riors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jack­sonville, FL 32256, in mem­ory of Michael.
