Faye Myrta John­son, age 95, of Belle­vue, passed away Thurs­day, March 15, 2012, at the Belle­vue Care Cen­ter, Belle­vue.
She was born in Brock­way, Pa., the daugh­ter of the late Samuel Edgar and Olive Mae (Croyle) Humphreys.
She grad­u­ated from Lawrence Park High School in Erie, Pa.
Faye was a mem­ber of St. John’s Lutheran Church; she was a pre-school teacher’s aide for over 20 years at St. John’s Chris­t­ian Preschool.
She is sur­vived by her daugh­ter, Ingrid (Dave) Shan­non, of Lake­land, Fla.; grand­chil­dren, Heather (Chris) Knight, of Den­ver, Colo., Kel­ley Shan­non, of Lake­land, Fla., Jef­frey (Coleen) John­son, of Port Clin­ton, Ohio, Kristin (Jeff) Gillis of Mans­field, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Audrey Knight, Ava Knight, both of Den­ver, Colo., Erica Gillis of Mans­field, Ohio, Jef­frey John­son Jr., of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Chaz John­son, Cashes John­son and Mariah John­son, all of Port Clin­ton.
In addi­tion to her par­ents, her hus­band, Dean John­son, whom she mar­ried Nov. 4, 1938; her son, Eric John­son; and sis­ters, Ruth Humphreys, Helen Humphreys, Oleta Albright and Naomi Jansen pre­ceded her in death.
Pri­vate inter­ment will be in Belle­vue Ceme­tery.
