Belle­vue FFA Alumni annual sausage sale is cur­rently under­way. This is one of the group’s top fundrais­ing activ­i­ties and has proven suc­cess­ful for them over the years. This year’s pro­ceeds will be going toward numer­ous scholarships.

Together with Belle­vue Meats, we hope to give as many schol­ar­ships as pos­si­ble. This year’s sale will end Feb. 17 and all sausage must be picked up March 2 from 9 a.m.-noon in the vo ag room. This year’s sausage will be pre­pared by Belle­vue Meats.

You may ask what is FFA:

The National FFA Orga­ni­za­tion (also known as Future Farm­ers of Amer­ica) envi­sions a future in which all agri­cul­tural edu­ca­tion stu­dents will dis­cover their pas­sion in life and build on that insight to chart the course for their edu­ca­tion, career and per­sonal future.

FFA makes a pos­i­tive dif­fer­ence in the lives of stu­dents by devel­op­ing their poten­tial for pre­mier lead­er­ship, per­sonal growth and career suc­cess through agri­cul­tural education.

Agri­cul­tural edu­ca­tion pre­pares stu­dents for suc­cess­ful careers and a life­time of informed choices in the global agri­cul­ture, food, fiber and nat­ural resources systems.

The Alumni, together with Belle­vue Meats, does not want finan­cial dif­fi­cul­ties to stand in the way of your child’s edu­ca­tion. Not every­one can afford to get involved in all that the FFA Orga­ni­za­tion has to offer.

The alumni want as many of our fine youth to take advan­tage of these oppor­tu­ni­ties as pos­si­ble. We have cre­ated a schol­ar­ship to help fund the stu­dents that work hard but just can­not make the finan­cial commitment.
