Abe looks back at 150 years ago

Ger­ald Payn por­trays 16th U.S. Pres­i­dent Abra­ham Lin­coln dur­ing the 45th Annual JEFF Night on Tues­day. This year the din­ner was spon­sored by the Kiwa­nis Club at the Belle­vue Soci­ety for the Arts. Nearly 50 peo­ple attended the din­ner, which included mem­bers from the Kiwa­nis, Rotary Club, Lions Club and Activ­i­ties Plus Orga­ni­za­tion. Payn became Lin­coln and shared what his fam­ily was endur­ing exactly 150 years ago, which was shortly after the Civil War began and just before one of his young sons died.
