Senior Citizens' Corner
Sign up for Oct. 1 center dinner

Happy fall. Autumn began today at 10:49 a.m. The chilly mornings we have had this past week sort of let us know it was approaching, but early fall days are beautiful and the sunsets have been spectacular.
Thanks to everyone who attended our big anniversary party last Sunday. We hope you enjoyed it.
The Board of Trustees will meet in regular session on Monday, Sept. 24.
Please sign-up for the free dinner to be held here at the center on Monday, Oct. 1. It will be provided by Saber Health Care (The Bellevue Care Center) and served at noon. This is our regular dinner/meeting day. Reservations need to be in by Monday, Sept. 24. The menu will be chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, roll and dessert.
The nurse from the Bellevue Hospital will be here to check your blood pressure for free and your cholesterol for $10 on Tuesday, Sept. 25 from noon to 1:30 p.m.
Come in and check out the new selection of library books for the month. They were exchanged on Thursday.
A memorial in the name of Trudy Dysard has been received from Rebecca Tidwell. Four County Young at Heart appreciates those who remember us in this way.
The Friday Lunch Bunch will be ordering in this week. Games will be played as usual following lunch.
You know you are getting older:
1. If, before you step off the curb, you look down once more to see if the street is still there.
2. If, work begins to be a lot less fun, and fun begins to be a lot more work.
Take care — J.
